Universal rights of famous “Who” Concert is acquired by Image Entertainment
Image Entertainment- North America’s most important independent licensee, producer and distributor of home entertainment programming announced that music fans will now be able to enjoy “who” Concert for the first time, as the worldwide rights of this historical concert is acquired by it. The Image Entertainment has acquired the universal rights of “The Who At Kilburn: 1977,” which was first filmed almost three decade ago and has not been available or seen by anyone.
To record a concert for Jeff Stein’s documentary film The Kids Are Alright, The Who assembled at the Gaumont State Theatre in Kilburn, North London On December 15, 1977 after an interval of more than a year. This never before seen concert is re-established and remastered in high clarity. After watching The Kids Are Alright,1977 Kilburn show became the sacred grail for fans who audience only few tormenting glimpses.
There is a pack of two DVD’s for music fans which includes all that stuff which is being sought by music lovers. This DVD pack includes 29 The Who’s prime hit songs and hardly ever performed favorites, along with first-ever live recorded performance of Tommy. Despite of this DVD set also includes never before seen uncommonness The Who’s powerhouse London Coliseum concert from 1969, and one of the band’s own favorites.
