Decline in dollar value made admission in California’s graduate schools a good deal
In recent time there is fall in value of dollar against the bucket of other rich currencies such as euro. Campus admissions official in California stated that decline in dollar value increased admission application fro graduate schools of California significantly. Decreased dollar value is attracting foreign students to take admission in California education school as it has made studying there a good deal.
In some graduate programs few schools such as San Francisco State University and UCLA are considering increase in application from foreign students by approximately double of past figure.
From Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East countries, increased applications are received by the admission officials.
UCLA assistant dean responsible for supervision of admissions to its business school stated that weak dollar made admission in there school a good deal as compared to they were earlier as stronger euro etc made it easy to get business education at low-priced rates.
According to Peter Johnson, director of admissions for the full-time master of business administration program at Haas from overseas concern has always been strong but frail dollar could be the chief factor of this dramatic growth.
