BPO firm Genpact obtains delivery centre in Guatemala

Genpact announced that it has acquired GE Money’s delivery centre in Guatemala. GE Money is General Electric Company unit. This acquisition will further widen its existence in Latin American beyond Mexico.

GE Money will be provided with the services by Genpact from this facility center. GE Money and BAC/Credomatic formally released this facility in July. In Guatemala this facility is Genpact’s first facility. From a segment of the facility GE Money’s Retail Consumer Finance division as well as BAC is allowed to carry on their functions for their costumers. In starting it will put up near about 700 professionals and it will have the capacity to extend it to approximately 2000.

Genpact’s Business Leader for the Americas showed his excitement to have their first occurrence in the region. He further added that after this acquisition they will be able to provide services to universal clients from both Guatemala and Mexico. This will reinforce their capability to propose best-in-class shared services to universal clients that have functions in the area and are attracted in combining their Latin America operations.
